Carbon Trust Standard Awarded To Calderdale Council
Calderdale Council has received national recognition for reducing its carbon footprint. The Council has achieved the national Carbon Trust Standard certificate after assessors identified a number of key projects which show how Calderdale Council is reducing its CO2 emissions year on year.
Blueprint For Redevelopment In Sowerby Bridge
Councillors will next week decide whether to move forward with a blueprint that will guide the redevelopment of part of Sowerby Bridge. The Holmes Road supplementary planning document will outline how that area could be redevelop, identify various planning issues and concerns and providing advice on how this can be tackled.

CMBC And Sita Catching Up With Waste Collection
Calderdale Council and its waste collection contractor SITA UK, are pulling out all the stops to clear the backlog of household waste. Waste and recycling collections were suspended during the extreme winter weather, because refuse and recycling collection vehicles were unable to reach many collection points.
