Calderdale Council along with the 4 other West Yorkshire Council’s has signed a joint statement to tackle climate change collaboratively.
Spooky Goings-on At Ogden Water
There are lots of spooky goings-on at Ogden Water in the run-up to Halloween. The Boggart Festival runs until the end of October, culminating on Halloween, Saturday October 31st, with a haunting torchlit procession around the reservoir led by Ogden’ s ‘woodland wizard’.
Sowerby Bridge Aerial Thermal Survey Results Now Online
Calderdale residents can now check online how much heat they’re losing through their roofs. This launch coincides with Energy Saving Trust’s – ‘Energy Saving Week’ initiative.
HX7 Jazz Club To Launch In January

Tackling Traffic Pollution In Sowerby Bridge
Calderdale Council and experts from the Transport and Environment Research Facility at the University of Leeds are monitoring air pollution on the A629, Salterhebble, Halifax and the A646 in Hebden Bridge to look at the link between traffic flows, vehicle types and exhaust emissions.
