My Little Boat

My name is Rose MacDonald and I am a NLPt psychotherapist-in-training and L3 practitioner in EFT.

As a therapist, understanding the context of peoples’ lives really helps clients in their quest for change.

Working through two previous recessions, with business experience in the public and private sector ranging from IT through to Sales, I can recognise and contextualise the range of issues facing people in their working and personal lives. Also, time as a Maths teacher gave me a visceral experience of the pressures facing both staff, students and parents.

What is NLPt?

NLPt – Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy is the therapeutic branch of Neuro Linguistic Programming, put simply the inter-relationship between thinking, talking and doing. NLP itself is based on the work of 3 remarkable people – their astonishing abilities analysed and modelled, and then replicated into a set of re-usable tools and techniques for personal change.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions, and your health. Reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issue, EFT often works where nothing else will. EFT is sometimes referred to as “tapping”.

So, the combination of NLP, EFT and my ability to set in context the issues to be worked upon gives us, the therapist and client, a strong anchor to… “Set sail to success.”
